The speakeasy 50 Mountain Berry Smash
2 oz Breckenridge Bourbon
1 oz blueberry/honey syrup
2 dashes bitters
Top with Fever Tree Ginger beer
Lightly muddle 6-8 blueberries in a rocks glass add ice.
Add the bitters and syrup in a shaker with ice and
Breckenridge bourbon and shake until very cold.
double strain into the rocks glass. Top with ginger beer
Spritz with a lemon peel and rim the glass, add a lemon wheel for garnish and 3 or 4 blueberries on a pick.
Blueberry Honey Syrup:
Smash a bunch of blueberries in a measuring cup, add equal parts honey and water, stir and heat up in a microwave for 30 seconds, stir and let cool. Strain mixture into a jar.
